As leaders, we can have a limited line of sight into all team dynamics. What is happening in our teams is not always obvious or visible.

Untapped potential, strategic capabilities, underlying tensions, power struggles, siloed behaviour, bullying, and communication breakdowns often stem from unaddressed dynamics that stay hidden beneath the surface.

If left unaddressed, these dynamics can lead to dysfunctional pockets of your workforce or entire work environment, hindering collaboration, culture change, and transformation. Hidden from plain sight can also include key strengths, capabilities, and opportunities to collaborate.

Together with experts in leadership, culture change, and psychosocial risk management and trauma, we have an upcoming virtual panel event where we will delve into key topics that are essential for navigating the complexities of workplace dynamics and creating healthy cultures in the workplace.

In this practical and insightful session, we have created the space for a multi-lens discussion on surfacing hidden dynamics, why it's important, and what to watch out for along the way. Joining us are our panellists, Nicole Hercus, Executive Coach and Leadership Development and Culture Change Specialist, David Lawson, Executive Coach, Registered Psychologist and OD Specialist, Justin Simmonds, Clinical and Consulting Psychologist and Executive Coach, and Mary Lemonis, experienced Chief People Officer.

Healthy cultures demand leaders who not only lead with purpose, inspiring those around them, but also understand the hard edges of leadership and their crucial role in identifying, minimising, and effectively addressing psychological hazards and harmful behaviours.

Imagine a workforce where we are able to be our authentic selves, trust and accept others for who they are, and encouraged to be our best selves at work – as a collective - now that would be a force to be reckoned with!

The time has gone, where leaders can be shocked about what behaviour is happening in their organisation on their watch. You can not change what you do not acknowledge. Stay curious about what hidden dynamics are alive in your organisation and work to address them to create real transformation.
